EDIBLE ICE CREAM
Edible ice cream is defined by the Health Surveillance Agency as “food products obtained from an emulsion of fats and proteins, with or without the addition of other ingredients or substances that have been subjected to freezing, under conditions that guarantee the conservation of the product in a frozen or partially frozen state, during storage, transport, marketing and delivery for consumption”. Edible ice cream can be soft or cream ice cream, popsicles and special ice cream products.
